PEI plate: Chinese polyetherimide board, the English name Polyetherimide, a non-crystalline plastic. Is an amorphous high performance polymer is amorphous PEI (polyetherimide) engineering plastics manufactured from extruded through the extruder temperature. PEI plate is the most commonly used raw materials used by the U.S. GE (trade name Ultem), 1972 GE, the U.S. began research and development PEI. 

 PEI plate main features:

 PEI board density of 1.28 ~ 1.42g/cm3, the glass transition temperature of 215 ℃, heat distortion temperature of 198 ~ 208 ℃, at 160 ~ 170 ℃ under intermittent long-term use to allow the maximum use temperature of 200 ℃. PEI has excellent mechanical strength, electrical insulation, radiation resistance, high temperature resistance and fatigue resistance and processability; glass fiber, carbon fiber or other fillers can be modified to enhance the purpose of its unique anti-thermoplast torsional strength, making it a small steel cutting parts of a cheap alternative. 

 PEI board applications: 

 PEI has an excellent overall balance sheet performance, effectively used in electronics, automotive, electrical and aerospace engineering to departments, and cultural life for traditional products and alternative supplies of the metal material. Generally used in micro-tools / catering, analytical instruments, medical equipment, telecommunications, molded Interconnects (MTD), automotive lighting, aircraft interior components, HVAC / fluid handling. 

 PEI excellent resistance to hydrolysis, so as to handle the medical surgical instruments, trays, fixtures, artificial limbs, medical and dental appliances, light reflectors. 

 Status: Currently PEI board manufacturers do not rely mainly on imports. Origin in Germany, the United States and Japan.
